Infill for Pets

P-Off Infill is a natural mineral pet infill installed on top of your lawn, replacing sand infill. The ammonia from pet urine produces a foul-smelling gas that creates its notorious nasty odour. Pet infill fixes this and ensures you have a pleasant-smelling garden all year-round.

Artificial turf infill by P-Off also assists in reducing the turf's surface temperature, thus providing a safer, more comfortable environment for both pets and children.

We recommend a minimum of 7kg of P-Off Infill per SQM of synthetic turf.

Odour has been a major deterrence from people buying artificial grass for their home. With our Infill for pets, you can apply it on top of your new lawn as an infill, which will prevent the ammonia turning into gas and producing a nasty odour.

Pet urine can build up in the sand infill and underneath in the cracker dust base, over time causing the gas from the ammonia to release in to the air and produce the strong smell of urine, if untreated.

If your synthetic turf hasn't been newly laid and has no current infill, the existing soiled infill will need to be siphoned out, then treated to remove urine for the new infill to be installed.

HOW TO USE P-OFF INFILL

Simply apply the P-Off Infill with a sand spreader, or by hand and spread evenly across your synthetic turf. Using a stiff broom or Turf Rake, brush into the grain.

A power broom can be used, but make sure the product stays in the turf area.

This can take a little while to settle, but take a look below at how much infill you should be using based on your pile height:

Pile height per sqm:

• 30mm : 7-8kg
• 35 mm : 10-12kg
• 40mm : 12-15kg
• 45mm : 15kg
